Part of my point was that Pearce hardly forced his way in. He's played one good quarter in the WAFL and has been pretty ordinary in his AFL outings thus far. Its all very well to roll out the party line but it clearly doesn't apply to everyone so why pretend it does?
Clancee had 18 touches in the first quarter and Cam the dick head coach then put him in the back pocket for the rest of the game to steady immature back men ,if he had left him on the wing he would have had 30 plus possessions and Peel would have won instead of loosing .
Its going to be a wet and slippery game so RTB wants a grunt player to beef up the backline and have an extra player to go into the midfield . Would you honestly like to see Mora playing in these conditions in his first game back ,NOT ME , that's for sure .
The risk stakes are too high for injury .
I would rather he plays on a good fast track so he can get the confidence to strut his stuff .

Mmmmmm considerable "risk stakes" .

When can I expect the payment for your plagiarism?

The second biggest part of it is that this is a new Freo and the old Mora may not have gotta guernsey with the new Freo,so we may need a bit of a remodeled Mora.
The biggest part is the small issue of 3 reconstructions(piddling and soft not to be playing AFL by now:p)and the fact that the club want to look after him.He is doubtless an intelligent bloke as everyone from Harvey is:eek:,but he may be his own worst enemy type although I really doubt this coming from where he's been.
How often have you heard either Webber(Robocop needs more appreciation I reckon) or RTB say 'Yeah well ask him. He's been saying he's good to go for a fortnight.' about a player?
Every bloody week for two seasons we have the PICKMORA brigade, but really if this bloke gets back to his best which I've always believed he will,it will be a fantastic sporting story. It was always gonna be a slow burn.
The club has been absolutely truthful with this right the way through. All you've got to do is listen.

I don't know why people second guess the freo messiah RTB .... He will do what's best for the team. You watch he will most likely bring mora back post derby against demons at tio to get the sentimental rubbish out of the way and get team ready and primed for finals

'Sentimental rubbish'? NSIS? I KNOW I will cry when he runs out for the first time. Probably be the most significant individual story in our clubs history.

We are missing our two best defenders. Ibbotson has been in average form since his return. Dawson and Silvagni are not well known for their run 'n' carry. We have struggled in the last few weeks to get the ball from our defensive 50 into attack and have therefore conceded repeated i50s. Whilst Mora has been playing half back for Peel, it's not his natural home, whereas Clancee's raking right boot is a proven weapon at AFL level. We need Clancee more than we need Mora. Simples.

That's why he has a role to play in swing the ball or catapult us more running game - shock and awe game

Clancee is the sub, so he's being used as fresh legs and nothing more. Morabito could have played that role equally well, and deserves it more than anyone.

Deserves it more than anyone? That's a big call. We all want him to play but there are any number of players who have worked hard all year and are waiting for their chance. Nothing wrong with romanticism but let's not let it get in the way of correct choices.

Mora will play next week. Just the emotional drive the team will need (ala Pavlich's 300 game) to get up in the derby.
