So Cometti reads an article in the west, which does not directly quote Anthony and then responds to it by writing an article in the west. Great to see the west making up news, when there isn't any.

I was very surprised to read in The West Australian last Friday of Morabito's impatience and frustration at not being selected for the Dockers.
True and surprised that he put so much stock in an "its understood" story.
On Cometti himself, after all those years of being clearly the best caller, I went off him in a big way, felt he was very snide in relation to Freo especially. However, I think I am back on, I really enjoy his call of a game again but maybe that is just a reflection of the very poor quality of today's callers and especially Bruuuuce who is now just a sad reflection of his glory days. Basil Zemp also still makes me laugh in the way that he impersonates everything Dennis does, be original Bas!
Dermott Breton in the game against Brisbane was great, kept the other guys in line.

Shaw was suggesting some absolutely ridiculous rule changes, Derm may be a thug but he's not as thick as that brick.
Lyon: Morabito no closer

I hope he gets a game soon. It would be a shame if we had 2x Peel club champs playing for Melbourne next season.Watched Morra train today and his kicking was in the top couple of players training. He is absolutely ready to play it's just who to drop from a winning side.
Unless a player is down on form it may not happen.

Just bit of tongue in cheek banter, mate.Ya'd have to be a pretty poor human being to consider leaving a club that kept the faith after 3 knee's.

Still trying to figure who to drop for him. As usual its good problem to have. I reckon Walters could be in the team before we see Mora.
He'll get a run after the derby.
I don't get this mentality Mora owes Freo nothing, he has had a freakish run of injury and if he feels he needs a fresh start or can see a better future elsewhere good luck to him. Who is to say it wasn't Freos fault his first surgery didn't take. That said i am a massive fan and I would love to see him play 200 games for the club and will shed many a tear when he runs out.
What a ****ed thin to say.Gary Ablett jnr. owed the cats nothing.
Buddy owed the hawks nothing.
I reckon a 20 game in 4 years, 3x knee reco 23 year old owes the club who kept him on a list that long everything. (Figures guesstimated)
Freo could have delisted him after his 2nd reco and not one head would have turned. I would go so far as to say they logically should have after his 3rd, but still they didn't. Do you think he'd have got another chance somewhere else if they did?
I think without Freo he would not be on an AFL list and therefore owes everything to the club. If he left I would deadset hope his knee goes before his first game back such would be the level of filth I would feel towards him.

I agree with this, but the injury part, that's dog.No joke. No exaggeration. Would have no respect whatsoever for anyone that left because they didn't get a game in a grand final side after 3 knee reco's and several years out.
