So he can't get a game because he hasn't played in 3 years, but you won't accept he's best 22 until he plays 6 games. That's some pretty wild logic there.

If Morabito isn't in our best 22 then we should rename it, because it's not the best we've got.

My point was you're making the statement suggesting he's already best 22. He's not.

WHEN he gets his chance (when he's hitting whatever KPI's the club and RTB expect from him) and he plays well enough over a handful of games, I'll consider changing my tune. Until then, he's not best 22.

Exactly, except Suban can run out a whole game. Morabito hasn't shown he is capable of competing at AFL standard for that long yet, I think that's all that is keeping him out right now.

If Mora ever gets a game, he will prove that he is still in the top 10 players that we have. If we're not playing him, we are not playing our best 22. The longer we do this, the less we will be ready for finals.

You realise in his first year he was very Nic Nat like, right? He popped up and did some very, very nice things but overall averaged 13 possessions with his highest game coming against carlton (18 disp). He wasn't as dominant as youtube would have you remember.

That's not a knock on the kid. I think you're right, he'll (eventually) be top ten for us, maybe top 5 or higher in a couple of years.

But right here, right now HE'S NOT BEST 22.

Mora has always been a flourbag type of kicker. I realise nobody suggested this but, a D. Pearce for Mora swap would severely damage the quality our I50's.

I can't wait for him to get a game, but all the same - best 22's should NEVER be based on potential, only runs already scored. Jeez I hope there's a 'tactical' late out tomorrow.

I'd rather not see him at all this year if that's the case.

He has been training since what June/July last year? And has been playing WAFL all season. He can't be that unfit that in the event he had to come on early in the game it would end up costing us?
