I wouldn't say Mora's our best 22 until he's proven he's in it. At the moment with 0 games played this season, he's an unknown. I'd love to see him get a game, but this week, when we're already so depleted up back is not the week to be putting him in for sentiment or to give him a run. Put him in because he's a direct replacement for an injured player sure, but dropping players this week would be mad.
If it's going to be a "because we want him playing" game, wait until Woosh & Johnno are back so we're back to our defensive best, and rest some player that needs a week off.

Don't know if he'd make it amongst the Weags tall, fast, long kicking, skilfu.......bahahahahaha! Nah I can't do it. They're so shit.
He hasn't played a game for getting towards 4 years now.. He's not definitely anything.
For the record. I don't apologize to people who claim to be 'moral authorities' when it suits them and then threaten people or act in an abusive manner when their own behavior is questioned. I also don't apologize to massive hypocrites who can't take what they dish out and consistently compile post criticizing others, while not being able to take any critique of their one work. I don't have the slightest problem admitting Im wrong or apologizing to those who deserve an apology from me. That is not you Reg.
To counter the points you have made about the 10% difference in efficiency between Hill and D.Pearce I would argue that Hill is a truly elite disposal of the football and his efficiency is only about 70%. The reason is that in the position both Hill and Pearce play they regularly have to kick into a forward line where the opposition has minimum of one (and regularly two or three) extra players. D.Pearce's job is get the football quickly into the forward line to minimize the ability of the opposition to get numbers back. Rather than kick it short (which significantly increases kicking efficiency percentages) D.Pearce's job is to get the ball quickly into the forward line. The reason for the famous RTB bake was that he didn't follow instruction and he kicked it short. His role is to gain metre-age, which assist in creating scoring opportunities. Even if that means the forwards have to halve a contest, so that we get a ball-up in the forward fifty from a D>Pearce kick. D.Pearce's efficiency is actually pretty good for a player who kicks long into the forward fifty on a regular basis.
For the record I actually completely agree that Morabito should be in the team. But, I think it would be crazy to drop D,Pearce for him and I think you have been massively disrespectful towards him. Suban, Sylvia and C.Pearce are players who I would have select behind Mora for todays derby.

Couple of months back, when discussing about Mora, RTB mentioned he is playing well in halfback, but when moved to his preferred position of inside mid, mora himself realized that he lacked the necessary fitness...
He have obviously picked up on the fitness level, but isn't he going for the inside mid or playing at halfback position? He is not challenging for D Pearce position is he? Or have things changed since?

Who ever thinks D. Pearce should be dropped is taking the piss. He had a good game today and blitzes the inside 50s.
Well with disposal efficiency of 64% and that goal miss from 40 out you would think he was a chance....till you see Hilly had 53% and won The Pointless Medal!
Suban, despite being generally considered borderline 22 had 84%!

Yeah I didn't look at the stats but that miss could have been costly.
Hill I thought was great and yes Suban was really good.
I woke up in NZ to a text from my bro that there was a rumour morra had tweaked his knee! Hes not the joking type, any truth??
It was 64% when the game finished. He kicked the most important goal of the match. He missed one easy goal, Pav dropped a couple of easy marks, Ballas dropped the footy, Fyfe missed targets on more than one occasion. Even the best players make mistakes. The above post demonstrates the utter stupidity of some of the anti- D.Pearce comments on here. Even though his kicking percentage was low in the first half, his kicking was actually pretty good. His kicks to both Pav and Mayne on leads early in the game were both superb. It is not Pearce's fault if a leading player drops the footy when the kick is spot on. He also won the football in congestion on more than four occasions in the first half. The reason why Fyfe's kicking efficiency was low last year was because he won so much contested footy and kicked out of contested situations. D>Peacre was far from the worst and probably in our top six players in both the first half and the game overall.
Anyway, I hope Mora plays next week. With RTB far from happy at the end of the game I think it seems highly likely he will play.

Ill move on but I have no problems stating that you can't even take 5% of what you dish out. Ill also maintain that you can't argue your way out of a wet paper bag (which is demonstrated very clearly in this thread) and your comments putting down people simply because they have posted less than you are utterly absurd to a major degree. From now on though I keep my responses to your comments based on football issues. For the record we actually agree that Mora should be playing. Id pick him ahead of Sylvia in the 21 next week. C.Peacre didn't get much chance to shine, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was dropped also as he has been the sub two weeks in a row.

You have stated twice now that I am being disrespectful of Pearce and yet it appears you have no concept of the term. You clearly have no idea of the etiquette involved in online forums, so I'll remind you that minnow posters, such as yourself, should be respectful of senior members of the forum.
