I think we should look at a smaller stadium for Melbourne teams for greater efficiency.

2021 will be 24 games. 1 pre-season hit out. bye before finals, and split rounds in middle of season

34 game seasons. 17 home games, 17 away games.

If it requires some footy frenzies during school holidays to cut down the season to 30 weeks, so be it.

No need for pre-season, and no team byes. Players can only play 30 games max, so need to schedule 4 weeks off during the season, like any other employee does.
