Essendon 'allegedly' are desperate for a pick in the first 3 in the draft and may offer St. Kilda or Pies - Alessio, Blumfield or Moorcroft as trade bait.

My tip - St. Kilda will trade their #2 overall pick for Alessio and Essendon's #16 pick.

Blumfield must feel like the biggest sucker in the world if that little story is true.

Was persuaded by Sheedy to stay at Windy Hill rather than go to Sydney for $800,000 last season.

Now he is getting dumped by - so much for 'loyalty' hey ?

What a stupid idea. St kilda better think twice about that, otherwise Essendon will just get an even stronger list! I'm just reflecting on Collingwood's arrangement with Richmond in 99 of trading Clinton King for Steven McKee, with a #7 draft pick somewhere in there as well. What a dumb decision that turned out to be this year.

Although, instead of offering those 3 players, the Bombers could offer Michael Prior, who wants to move back to the west. Theres an opportunity for Freo.

It's just another rumour - they were flying thick and fast at Windy Hill yesterday.

But one thing is certain. St. Kilda will trade away their #1 or #2 draft pick to whoever gives them the best deal. You can take that 'rumour' to the bank.

(Spreading more unfounded rumors from Windy Hill)

Yep, Prior is gone back to WA, might pick up a midlist young Weagle or Docker for him or a 2nd Rd pick.

Personally I reckon Blumfield won't go anywhere but Moorcroft is gone if the right trade comes along.

Lalich, McAlister, Berbakov will be cut if not traded.

Grgic & Fraser are duds certain to be delisted.

Bewick, Denham and Wallis will call it a day.

There were 2 Duckworths on the Eagle list this year, maybe we could trade Proir ofr one of them. It would be great to have another Duckie at the Bombers if they turn out to be as godd as Billy.

You're most welcome to Sandie, but I wouldn't...

Joel hasn't played a game, and was delisted to make room for Kasey Green. He's had terrible injuries.

His cousin Simon has been on our rookie list. Hadn't heard a thing about him (not a good sign) until the last couple of Westar rounds when played OK.

Neither of them are Bill's kid. I think he's their uncle or great uncle, but they're not brothers.... confusing really.

Don't discount Josh Wooden. Hasn't really broken into the team, but can play (finished high in the Sandover, even though he played a few for us). Has very good kicking accuracy, and is tough at the ball. (Not soft

) He's also very good in the wet, and very homesick. And I'm not building him up here..... honest.

Personally, I still say we'll have Judd

Walshy you better check that you are still alive, if you know that Wallis is playing for a fact next year, then in fact you may not be alive, look at the AFL site and you will see he has officially retired.

If we trade either of our first two draft picks I will be very pissed off.

And I am not alone amongst saints fans on this one. Very rarely does a team have the opportunity to have picks 1 and 2 in the national draft and we MUST use them to get some of the best youngsters in the country.

Our 1994 and 1995 drafting almost landed us a premiership in 1997, yet the same players have gone missing a few years later.

All the same, we earned these early picks and must not trade them away.
