Thats the impression that I got from Ch 10 sports news. Apparently jarred his knee at training today and didn't come off to well? Seems a bit iffy if you ask me...

Well they havent said a Reco just yet...we'll wait and see what the doctor says!! Please dont let it be another reco....that would be two quality player we were expecting back that have had to do it all over again...

Not happy jan....it better just be a bit of a jarred knee that sets him back maybe another week or two!

It'll be a major blow for the bloke if the news is bad.
I was hoping that he might get back to somewhere near his best with a fresh start under Woosha.

Hopefully it's nothing major.

Starting to think we are a club jinxed with knee problems. I really hope it is not too bad for Morrison and its only a minor set back.

Really have to feel for these guys that have a knee recon and then fall back another 12 months with another knee.....

Jakovich and Read come to mind along with Prior.......

anyone else we have that have done 2 knees?

If it is his knee that is in need of another reco, you really have to feel for the bloke.

Coming back and recovering from the first, pre season training, etc etc, haven't even had a game yet, and possibly another reco now.

Let's say our prayers and eat our vitamins.

I know that Chad is absolutely devistated about the news - Im sure he would appreciate any get well messages from his supporters.

Terrible news for the poor bloke. I hope he can recover from this and be ready to go in 2003 for us.

With Morrison and Read having long-term injuries, can we promote another player to the squad (to join Tuckey)? If so, who would you promote from the rookie list?

Bloody hell. The bloke must be devestated. I remember listening to him at half time a couple of weeks back and he sounded like he was itching to get back out there. He's almost the forgotten Eagle at the moment! :(

GoEagles, Tuckey was promoted as a replacement for Morrison who was on the long term injury list and who will be there for another season now.

The only other rookie player that might be promoted is Quinten Lynch whose form at WP has been impressive. I doubt this however as he would probably come after most of the talls on our current squad. Still, he's going to be a good player.

Still, I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad, but it seems when injury strikes, it strikes bad at the moment.

Just out of interest. These days when you come back from a knee reco, what is the knee's condition like? Seems pretty odd that two of our players who suffered them last year have gone a buggered their knees again (I know Phil Read injured his other leg).

Feel sick to my stomach - again :(

How many players is that this year to do another knee on the comeback? Chad and Ready for us, but also Burke, Wilson, Dragacevic(?)... I'm sure there's others too.... Why the sudden influx of 2nd recons? I don't remember this happening much before

Pes- 3 inches today on your request ;) Still coming down too.... Don't think that's the cause though.

EF :(

Atleast both Chad and Phil can support and push each other along in thier recovery.

Very sad news tho, Chad would have been very handy to come back into the side and add some flexibility. :(

Sorry yto hear about Chad . I was looking forward to see him taking a few grabs and kicking some goals as I believe Woosha would have played him as a Mr Fixit like one of our favourite sons Chris Waterman. We also must think of the club who signed him on a big contract and have had no return for two years this also applies to Read. Two of our best 22 players are missing again lets hope nothing more seious happens than hamstring strain.

Sorry to hear about that...he is one of the eagles best players in my view and its shocking to see he has done his knee again. Seems to be a bad year for the people coming back from knee recons...Read, Wilson, and Morrison out for another year and Paxman getting a stress fracture in the same knee and is out for another 3-4 months :(

**** **** ****!!!!

IMO he is in our top 5 or 6 players at the club and this is very bad news! He is one of my favourite players and now we have lost his services for another year! It's lucky that we actually have some depth this season.

I wish Chad all the best in his recovery, hopefully Chad and Phil both get back for round 1 2003.

This sux!!!!!!

I just hope this is the last one to happen. I just hope Serria does not go out on the park and do his knee.

I just dont understand why knee injuries are happening more now than they did years ago, and why we seem to suffer the worst. I thought they agreed it was not Subi oval that was causing the problems......
