I didn't see what happened to Morrison, but I heard the commentator say "Morrison is off with a knee injury" and my heart went in my mouth, but hearing that its not serious is a big plus for me.

He had no knee brace and was already changed as he greeted the players already changed when they left the field (not even an ice pack taped to it). Looks like it was just a precaution - fingers crossed.

Heard it was a jarred knee too - although when I heard the commentator say he was off the ground with his knee I was a little worried.

Hope he's right for the Kangaroos. I'd love to see the same 22 play for more than one week.

Morrisson isnt on the injury list on the eagles website so yeh it was probably just a precaution to have him off the field. this weeks break is probably all he needs

Eagle Morrison out for up to six weeks

West Coast utility Chad Morrison is facing up to six weeks on the sidelines and will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery on Wednesday.

There is no damage to his twice-reconstructed anterior cruciate ligament, but there is to his medial ligament, which will be “tidied up”.

Morrison told westcoasteagles.com.au that he was concerned when a Brisbane opponent fell across his leg early during Sunday’s clash at the Gabba.

“At quarter-time we went into the rooms and he (the doctor) told me the ACL looked strong and stable and I was happy to hear that, but you never really know until after the scans.

“So I was really happy with the results from an MRI yesterday. It is probably a six week injury, but I’m quite relieved because it could have been a lot worse.”

maybe collica could get a call up to replace him. doubt it though.

He's had a horror couple of seasons.... with all these injuries its getting harder for him to cement his spot in the side

Heres hoping he can get over the injuries and get back into it in 6 weeks time
