So Morton played his first game for the Yellow and Black what did people think of his game.

Gets a pass. Would've kicked a few if the delivery was actually good, works hard also.

Not a backman though, I dont know what Terry was playing at there.

I see him in the best 22 for sure on a HFF putting pressure on Pettifer.

def the best kick in our side 2 lace out passes to lids. but didnt get enough of it and our players didnt look for him when he was free. should improve back in perth and with pettifer out.

11 possessions, 7 marks, 5 tackles & 1.1 from a kid playing his first game for the club is a decent enough return to start his career at Richmond. Hopefully Wallace persists with the kid and he can string a few games together and build some confidence.

Would hope that he could play a lot better than that.

Gee thats a bit harsh considering the side was getting belted and the kid was playing his first game. If you're disappointed with his game I hate to see your thoughts on Pettifer, Polak, Simmonds & Tivendale who all had much poorer games than Morton.

from what i haveseen of him, he looks to have good kicking skills. what i havent seen him do, is have forward line pressure, chasing and tackling. until i see that the jury is still out. the last think we need is someone on our forward line who needs the ball kicked to him for him to get it. my thoughts are we should of taken a kid at pick 35 instead, but thats in the past.what with the hair, should be knocking the door down for our sponsor matrix men to do something about it.

Happy with his efforts first up, was shafted by the umps a few times close to goal. Could have kicked a few more if they had of paid holding at our end of the ground.

Unfortuniately i dont think that Moton can/wil make much difference in our forward line, it is still a 1 man forward line. Best chance of kicking a bag is back at Coburg.

Was passable, decent disposal, pressured well, put in ok during a couple of brief midfield stints - hard to be outstanding when you're on starvation flank in a losing side.

Would like to see him tried on a wing at some stage this year.

If you're disappointed with his game I hate to see your thoughts on Pettifer, Polak, Simmonds & Tivendale who all had much poorer games than Morton.

Pettifer - needs to play at the burgers
Polak - Not a great game but copped a fairly heavy head knock, came back ok at the end could have had three goals
Simmonds - Thought he played about average for him - we smashed them in the clearances so obviously had the better of the rucj duels
Tivendale - hack

not the worst player in the team , our disposal into the fowardline sucks bigtime we neet pi point accuracy to give our fowards a chance
