Just been posting on Vic Country forums about Kyabram FC (Goulburn Valley FL) current consecutive winning streak of 51 games. It overtook Navarre’s (Maryborough FL) of 50 last week to be country Victoria’s longest streak.
It was mentioned that a South Australian team back in the late 80s once had an 80 game plus streak. Can anyone confirm which club this was please?
Apparently St Mary’s in the NT League have a streak of 55.

Hey Mate,
Yeppoon Swans in the AFL Capricornia League have just won there 63rd game in a row closing in on the Queensland Record of 65 held by BITS from back in early 2000-2003 and looks like they could continue the streak for awhile yet.

Well Yeppoon’s 63rd won was one better than Kyabram’s streak. Kyabram’s 63rd was hopefully going to be the Grand Final. In a touch of irony, in an exciting game, their opponents Shepparton scored 63 points to win the flag by 2 points!

Yeppoon Swans have now gone to 66 on the weekend surpassing BITS to hold the QLD record. Just completed the first round and the team has not kicked less than 17 goals and not had more than 5 kicked against, so it appears this streak is going to keep going for quite while, a long way off but Round 11 next season takes the national mantle!

Yeppoon is up to 87 wins in a row after a perfect H&A season. They will play either Rockhampton Panthers or Glenmore in the preliminary final in two weeks. A win ties the all-time streak of 88.
