Was it Richo missing from 10 meters out, your favorite player bursting out the pack and kicking the ball the wrong way, someone missing the footy and getting hit in the head?

What is the most embasrrassing thing you have seen an AFL footballer do??

On field please :D

Well this year whe nthe umpire was court wearing a G-String-Now that was a classic. It was on the Best of Bits on Before the Game final this year. That episode showed some reall funny scudah!

Al Lynch after kicking a goal at the Gabba ran around high-fiving the crowd until he slipped over in the gutter (2000?);

He didn't do a hammy, he tore his achilles.

OK, it wasnt on the feild but during the half time break I think.

Matthew Nicks was caught by the camera in the changeroom picking his nose and eating it. Saw it on the Footy Show.

hehehehhehe :D

I think he would still be copping it big time from his team mates and opponents.

Not AFL sorry, but it was still very funny. Opposition player forgot which way he was kicking and kicked the ball straight to our full forward. His team mates had all run forward of the ball, and you should have seen the looks they gave him. He looked like he wanted to be somewhere (anywhere) else. Our players ran to congratulate him, poor kid.:)

For the Crows against us
It was a Showdown (obviously) some years ago. Very close, as they often are. Matthew Primus was lurking near the goal mouth but a ball coming in was intercepted by Tyson Edwards and seemingly destined to be carried away.
Incredibly Edwards turned and handpassed back to Primus who looked for 1/10 of a second in surprise, and then spun round and slotted it in at point blank range.
You dream of those moments.
For us against Collingwood
Sadly the reverse happened in a game against Collingwood at Footy Park in (I think) late 2001. Collingwood were ahead late in the game but we were coming back hard. Montgomery was running out of defence and, as was our game plan then, we had created a chain of loose men that would have carried the ball all the way up the ground. Instead the relatively unpressured Montgomery kicked it straight into Josh Fraser's hands, and Fraser then kicked an inspired long distance goal that killed off our momentum and gave them the game. I still wake up screaming "No Monty, no!!".

Would have to be in the qualifying final 2002, Port v Pies. Collingwood had led all game but Port were coming back hard when Peter Burguoyne took a mark in the goal square against Benny Johnson. Instead of lining up and slotting it from 5 meters out, he played on but was tackled brilliantly by Benny.The loose ball was picked up by the pies and cleared. Port lost so much momentum out of that. It was funny as s-h-i-t aswell!

Ling kicking the ball out on the full while having a shot from the goal line :eek: against Essendon a couple of years back. Wouldnt have even thought it was possible till that night
