I'm not even saying our kids are the best.
Some will be average, some will be good to very good players.
The consensus is among posters that we have the worst list in the league.
I just think it's not all doom an gloom and we have plenty to work with.

Enjoying the finals series so far? How's Norths raiding of other clubs talent going? Dusty sign? How about Kelly? It's ok, I'm sure you guys will land the likes of Suban and Motlop.
Not sure trade month hasn't started.
Kelly a big chance.

Could you name a team that has had a better injury run then Richmond?
Did you see our injury list midway through the year?

We lost Conca, Vlastuin, Griffiths, Elton, Prestia (being managed all year with a knee injury), Riewoldt, Moore, Graham have all missed games this year through injury, Conca only coming back through the VFL from round 23 I believe it was, Vlastuin missed i think 7 weeks with a broken collar bone, Riewoldt with his eye injury, Griffiths first choice second forward pretty much playing a couple of games and missing the rest through concussion, Elton third in line doing his shoulder, we also had Hampson on the LTI only coming back in the last couple of games through the VFL, and Drummond a promising young kid who done his ACL again.

So from that list Conca, Vlastuin, Griffiths, Prestia, Riewoldt, Graham are best 22 all missed portions of the year, and then you go further down the list and our depth players mainly young kids were injured throughout the season only all coming back in the backend of the year.

Please do some research before you talk rubbish.

Some aren't just average, majority are average, and it's the consensus amongst footballing supporters and the media that you have one of the worst lists in the league, and of course you would say that, I don't think I've ever seen a NMFC supporter on this board talk up it's youngsters like no other, I wonder where that thread about a certain North youngster being better then Pendlebury is, hmmm.

Majority of opinions about Norths list from oppo posters are uninformed and ignorant.
They will post huge sweeping comments about the list.
When i don't beleive they really even know about our players or watch our games.

The media just focus on what or who is popular.
They have always undersold us due to being a small club.
**** the media.

Did i say we have had a worse injury run than anyone else? I just said we have had a few injuries throughout the year. We actually have quite good depth in the VFL at the moment which meant even when we did have injuries we could cover them by bringing in a like for like replacement. An example of that is Jacob Townsend who came in when Josh Caddy did his hammy in R21.

So the only people who can rate North's list is North fans who are notorious for massively overrating their list?

Sure...

I bet Ziebell will break out and be the superstar you all claimed he'd be any day now.

What youngsters do Richmond have that strike fear?
Outside of Dusty, Riewoldt, Rance & Cotchin it's a bit bare.
Well, considering you seem to consider Ben Brown to be just a kid...

9 of our PF winning team were younger, some far younger, while Prestia and Caddy are only a month or two older...so that's half our team.

Not sure about 'strike fear', but quite a few would draw serious consideration from opposition coaches.

Nankervis has held our ruck together all year...23y1m
B.Ellis been good all year, and was 2nd in our B&F in 2014...24y1m
Vlastuin was listed among the best on Friday....23y4m
Jack Graham..only his 3rd game after an injury interrupted year, laid 9 tackles...19y6m

I could go on....but I'm sure your one eyed view wouldn't accept any of them as being any good, whatever more objective judges say.

Remember when Kieran Harper and Atley were going to be the greatest ever footballers that ever graced these lands.. and Hansen was better then Riewoldt, Ziebell was better then Martin etc etc, but no North supporters never over rate there own players.

My original point was that Richmond had a soft draw and I can't think of a team thats had a better run of injuries so just wondering if any Richmond fans could state a case for a twan thats had a better run then them.
