This might be a good one for this board

Who’s played in the most senior premierships?

Craig Gislingham had a couple of stints at Richmond (never played seniors) in between his senior career at Vermont where he played in 10 senior premierships. Then went to Wandin as captain-coach and won two flags. 12 premierships all up.

Anybody known to have bettered that?

Played in five senior TFL premierships with Clarence in 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997 and 2000.
Four SFL Premier League senior premierships with Clarence in 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2006.
Two senior premierships with OHA in the Old Scholars Football Association in 2008 and 2011.
Gavin Cooney played in 10 senior premierships with Clarence in 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 2000 (TFL).
Clarence 2001, 2002, 2004, 2006 (SFL Premier League).

Yeah, you’re right. It’s a bit tricky.

He seems to be credited as a member of Carlton’s 1877 premiership team in most places.

Norwood is less clear. SANFL says 7 - 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 87, 88

Pre the common final Playoff game - Grand final (pre 1900 in most cases.)
Any player who play one game during the year is a member of a premiership team

1998 - GF loss for Werribee to Springvale in the Victorian Football League
1999 - GF loss for St Kilda to Essendon in the AFL Reserves
2000-2001 - 2 GF wins for Central District to Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL
2002 - GF loss for Central District to Sturt in the SANFL
2003-2005 - 3 GF wins for Central District in the SANFL (West Adelaide, Woodville-West Torrens x2)
2006 - GF loss for Central District to Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL
2007-2010 - 4 GF wins for Central District in the SANFL (North Adelaide, Glenelg, Sturt, Norwood)

Hawthorn's Isaac Smith

Hailing from Cootamundra, Smith played football and basketball with Luke Breust in Temora, with both ending up at Hawthorn where they played together in the 2013 AFL Grand Final. Smith moved to Wagga Wagga when he was 13, where he played with Hawthorn's Matt Suckling in the Wagga Hawks for several years before both moved to the Wagga Tigers where they won two premierships.

Smith later moved to Victoria to take up a Sports Management Degree at the University of Ballarat. Joining his mates at Redan, Smith first aired his raking left foot in Redan's reserves. After winning the 2009 senior Ballarat Football League (BFL) Grand Final, he resisted North Ballarat's overtures to do a pre-season with them, but by midway through 2010, he was not only being pulled again by the Roosters, but pushed from within by Redan.[1]

Reckon we have a winner - surely nobody beats 15!!
 
Topsy Waldron also played in a premiership for Carlton Imperials in 1876, and in Norwood’s “Champions of Australia” team in 1888 when they beat South Melbourne in 3 consecutive games at Kensington Oval at season’s end.

Furthermore, he played his last game in 1898 at the age of 41. He also umpired 16 games of SA football.

And somehow - he is yet to be inducted in to the Australian Football Hall of Fame!
