Which player(s) have you been most impressed with so far on your team. By that I mean which player were you not expecting much from but has delivered far beyond your expectations. Also which player has got you so angry from their disappointing results when they should be tearing it up.

Impressive: for me Richo is the player I'm most impressed with. I put him in the team so he could get his 80s or 90s but for the last 5 weeks he hasn't gotten a score under 110. He has far exceeded my expectations.

Disappointing: There may be a few but Steve Johnson wins this one. For such a good player in such a good team he has been very poor. So far he has not even got 100 points in a game yet. He even had a game where he got 22p 6m 4g 3t and he ended up with 85 points, wtf, he should have gotten 110+.

Not including rookies who were obviously going to impress...

Impressive:

- Cox (more of a gun than I ever knew. He is simply one of the best players of our time).
- Marc Murphy (for the price he provides a consistent good score).
- Richo for sure.

Dissapointing:

- Jason Gram (are you on the field?).
- Beau Waters (can you kick the ball to a player on your team please?).
- Brad Johnson (injured or not, he was an elite player).

Best: Ablett has been a force but I almost expect that from him now.Bust the most impressive for me it would be a toss up between Ryhs Palmer or Rioli. These guys have been out scoring many of my so called guns.

Worst: I have to agree with TheVelourFog. SJ has been pathetic. Milburn has also been well down on past years.

Impressive Bradshaw. Until his recent slump was averaging near 110. I thought he'd be good for 70-80 so have been pleasantly surprised.

Disappointing Brad Johnson - such a great player he has always been a starter in my sides but was scoring well below what he should considering his price. Stuck with him for a while but eventually traded him out.

From

My team;

Best: Porplyzia has just taken the next step and to such a great effect.
Worst: Lindsay Gilbee has been very disappointing.

Overall;

Best: Gazza has just been unstoppable this year.
Worst: Joel Bowden's new role is killing him.

Impressive:

Quite a few.

Cox, Ablett, Stevens (expected)
Bock, R Murphy (exceeded expectations)
Bradshaw, Porplyzia, Palmer, Rioli (far exceeded expectations)

Palmer most impressive overall, he's now a starting mid

Most disappointing:

Bowden, McPhee, Dyson, Daisy Thomas

For my side personally

Worest/Disapointing:
Nico, Gilbee

Best/Impressive:
Palmer, Ibbo, Burton, Porp

IMPRESSIVE:
Rioli
Bradshaw
Ibbo
Palmer
various other rookie (Houli, Bird, Tippett, Gamble etc)

DISAPPOINTING: (all my "big guns")
J Brown
Gilbee
Gram (now gone)
Newman (now coming good)
Riewoldt
Dal Santo

Theres only one dud that takes the mantle of most disappointing in my team -

GILMORE!!!!

GILMORE!!!!

F*ING GILMORE!!!!

The guy is totally useless and a hack! I cant believe I was tricked by all the hype for picking him. Thought I was going to have a unieque selection partnering Cox in the ruck, ended up a total magoo who has no clue!

Got rid of him several weeks ago now.

Others to disappoint have been Gram and B.Jones (both gawn now) They are both just way too inconsistant for my liking.

Newman was nearly about to join them but he looks like he's turned the corner.

J.Brown has been average too and so was B.Johnson who I also got rid of.

Gees I've wasted trades just getting rid of duds. :thumbsd:

Most Impressive - Sandilands. Picked him as No 2 ruck to Cox and he has turned into a gun.

Most Dissappointing - VACUUM (Dyson: He is 'the Vacuum' cause Dyson is a vacuum and he also SUCKS!!) I didn't think it was possible for someone to both Suck and Blow at the same time!

I've been disappointed with Gilbee, he could do way better than what he is doing now.

I got BJ in last week, and hopefully he gets back into form and averages around 100+ for the rest of the season.

Porplyzia has impressed me as well as Palmer, having trouble whether to trade Palmer or not.

Bit harsh on Dal Santo. He is averaging 109.38 for the season which is a little down on last year, but still pretty impressive.

Very impressed:

Cross (nothing spectacular, but he's been a 100 point rock of consistency)
Ablett (worth every penny from his round one price)
Deledio (gone up another notch to the elite bracket and still has plenty of improvement left in him this year)
Richo (the legend is posting legendary scores)
Franklin (been more consistently brilliant than in the past)
Palmer (had him from round one - on the bench more often than not - and rapt at his progress)
Cooney (outstanding scores so far)
Rioli (been brilliant for a rookie)
Taylor (very solid backman for his price among a few big dollar disappointments)
Bradshaw (over the moon with him until last couple)

Disappointed:

P Burgoyne (getting enough of it, but poor efficiency and outright laziness in his disposal for a player of his standard)
Fisher (consistently a bit down from last year on average - hopefully will change)
Milburn (bought him low, but getting consistently outscored by rookies on the bench)
Birchall (really thought he may take the next step this year but hasn't so far)
Kornes (bought him low, but seriously beginning to wish I'd stayed clear going on what he's done so far)

Overall I'm happy and the blokes who've let me down a little (at least on expectations in some cases) stand a good chance of improving.

T.Cloke has been appalling this year so far, averaging little more than 60 a round and his best score was 99 against the porous Bombers defence. Jed Adcock also this season has been moderate at best, Nicoski has been terrible, as a lot of former reasonable fringe Eagles have become the duds that Judd/Kerr et al made to look better.

Best players for me have been Gary Jr, can't complain about Palmer either, Cox has been very good diven his injury concerns and Buddy has been fine value.
