Has to be Patrick Voss

I reckon I said he was trash at gather round. Proved me wrong
Nope you were right then. His decision making wasn't great early, marks weren't sticking, and his accuracy was shocking. All 3 have improved out of sight, and he's become a genuine problem up front for teams. Ground game is excellent and he's unbelievably strong too; I think he even shades Treacy in a wrestle.

Before anyone hangs shade on Essendon for releasing him, it's often the kick up the arse players need to find out what it actually takes to successfully compete at this level. We've seen it with Hogan, and others around the league.

Well the opposite of most improved has to be Dan Houston. Gone from AA gun to being Hawthorns BOG on Thursday.

Essendon still needs a baking for that since he was delisted after winning the reserves B&F. Not sure what else you can do as a young kid if you don’t get given an opportunity at AFL level.

Max Hall. Mid-season selection in 2024 and after NAS probably St.Kilda’s most consistent player this year. Dropped from Box Hill’s finals team less than 2 years ago. That is a rapid improvement.

If we're talking strictly "in 2025", then...
Oisín Mullin.
Gone from "let's just cut our losses with this guy" to one of the league's elite taggers (if not the elite tagger). The other nominations are all players who had at least had showed glimpses of quality prior to this year, if not more.

Most depreciated player: Dan Houston by a mile. Lucky to be getting a game.

We might have won that trade

Yeah Hogan had other stuff going on in his life.

This is purely a football department blunder.

Good teams find a way to get the most out of their players without having to delist them as a kick in the arse.
