It has to be Jason Blake. He does a job every week. Get off his back people, he can play. He has come on in leaps and bounds...

Joey Montagna has improved as well. Taken that step, he is very important to us now....

% of improvement from last year I would have Gilbert, Attard then Montagna (Joey was pretty good - but has become more consistent)

Good to see NDS playing closer to his expected level too.

Blake! You're not serious? On the topic, Montagna by daylight. Has stepped up majorly this year and given us what we need in the midfield, the ability to break the lines and use his pace to burn off the opposition. Dare I say it, he's second only to Dal Santo in our midfield, provided he gets enough of the footy. A super important player.

i think rix has improved alot this year he still could get a few more possies around the ground but his ruck work has improved 100%

Good call. did anyone notice last week (v hawks) whenever rix was rucking we were on top (momentum wise). just dissapointing to have kosi resting on the bench during this time should be resting at FF.

It is going to be great when we get Goddard back with Montagna and Dal playing middle. Fisher and Gilbert freed up. Nasty.
Yeah, Goddard would have the nod for me just ahead of Joey. Before he was injured he had turned himself from under acheiver to top 5 player. Just hope he gets back to that form next year.

Blake has been really solid covering a range of rolls. He is a utility and that makes him so important....
BJ is no doubt a star. Also I have been impressed with Clinton Jones. He and Attard will get promoted onto the senior list and years end

Seriously blake has to go! Worst player every week, has no idea what to do with the ball.. I dont understand how ppl can talk him up, Im sure many coaches could use him in there team but i would get rid of him for a draft pick (3rd round).
And mcqualter has to go

Everyone else on the list :thumbsu:

What are you talking about? He has played on the like of Adam Goodes, Shane Crawford and Mathew Lloyd and beaten them all hands down. He is such an assest to the team. He can run all day, and is strong overhead..

Mcqualter wont go. He was pick 21 a couple of years ago, and they want him to stay. Signed a new deal at the end of last year. Needs more time, very strong junior (Vic Country captain) and was expected to go higher than he did had he not have done his hammy in the first 5 mins of the National champs...
