Young because he came from nothing much to genuine AFL quality player.

Seth because he went from bit player to genuine high end AFL player

Miller went to be one of the better KPD in the game

Banks went from fringe to good quality AFL player

Sonsie and Brown didn't improve enough to get my vote. But both still better overall. Nice to see.

The thread is 'most improved'. Not honourable mention for someone who played 3 decent games for the year.

Not much point repeating the Miller/Banks/Young line. This was just one from left field.

Over the years MRJ has shown some good stuff and some bad stuff. The bad stuff is associated mainly with the cut of his gut, he has never been fit enough, and the fact that a pretty average kick, to say the least. But you can't deny that at times he can do some exciting stuff like pick the ball off his toes and is gone, like 2 other Rioli's I can think off. And he sure can tackle. He has easily had his best year, so he is on the improve.

If he play more consistently, he might be handy. We are so in need of spark around the ball that if he could get it together who knows. I think he has one more year to prove it.

Banks hands down. Miller already showed great form before tapering off at the end of last year. Campbell’s also shown some of this previously.

But Banks hasn’t previously shown consistency at this level
