Most improved player?

I reckon Carroll has been outstanding this year, he's tighten a few loose screws in defence and he looks to be a keeper. CJ has also done pretty well I think and Bate has just strolled into the G as if he's had about 50 odd games under his belt. Pity about no Rising Star nomination, pretty stiff. Green seems to have lifted his game in comparison to last season, same with Ooze and to a lesser extent Dutchy. Syl's getting better each game he gets and Flash is having a much better season than last. A bit of a let down would be Beamer, he's had injury issues but hopefully he'll live up to the promise soon. But all in all, Carroll has gone from being a short-term solution to one of the cornerstones in the team structure. It's not as though he's all that young either right? He was a fairly mature recruit if I remember correctly...I remember most of us freaking out because we needed a quality full back and some even said something about Jon Hay...Whoa...Thankgod that didn't come to fruition. Anyways, good on Carroll for having a good season with only a minor hiccups, arguably the most improved player on our list

Carroll but last weeks game didnt do his chances any good, but yeh should get the Most Improved trophy pretty easily.

Have been very impressed with CJ though and also, the big russian, Jamar.

Nathan Carroll for sure. Without him we might have had some serious problems down back this year.

you guys are all forgetting mclean. imho hes gone from a tough young kid into one of our most important players. he is getting high 20s in the possession stats and is really controlling our in and under midfield... although carrol has come from no where i believe mclean has improved his game so much that he is the most improved

I agree with your comments on McLean, but he was a decent player last year. I would say Carroll is the most improved by a long way and I hope he learns from the last match against Bradshaw....
