Though at the time I though Downy was a chance to be an AFL player but I knew Chalmers wasn't

Pfft, Shannon Gibson for Paul Sharkey. Not that was insignificant! 
I liked Chalmers in his time at the Crows. But Downsborough was useless for the Power and equally useless for the Crows. (did he also play for someone before Port, Eagles?). Though as it turned out Chalmers did very little for the Power as well.
