Out of them two, the Hawks get my vote. They have lots of talented youngsters but can you guarantee that these players will lead the Hawks into an era of glory? I don't think so.

when fans rate their team to come from a tie for 16th to "we are going to play finals" its really a no brainer

Well by there own supporters definently essendon.
But from the AFL public Hawthorn are real overrated.
From my point of view heaps of great youngsters who have performed in a few games. But not alot of GREAT players. Definently premiership contenders but at this point there list is rated to win premierships from 2010-2020

This is a tough call. The Hawks defense is pathetic, and they compensate by ultra-flooding their defense, and employing an attendence destroying chip-kick strategy. Their midfield is grossly over-rated as we saw last night. Essendon's spine would have been impressive about 6-7 years ago, but they're all oldies now, well past their prime. Watching Michael and Fletcher's instrictual pushing of FF's in the back being penalised, might lead to the early demise of these 2 veterens. The Dons midfield is just terrible.
