Lost all respect for Tendulkar after he lied in Harbhajans hearing after that Sydney test.
Being realistic, in what sporting culture is refuting a teammates testimony actually going to happen?
Seems ridiculous to hate Tendulkar for that.

Just going back to Murali, I think something that gets overlooked when lauding over his 800 wickets is the ridiculous amount of overs he bowled. He averaged 31.5 overs bowled per innings, over 133 Tests. That's insane.
Yes, he's a spinner, and yes, Sri Lanka didn't have too many strike options, and full credit to him for carrying that workload for so long and being so economical in the process (economy rate of 2.47), but his final wicket tally is somewhat boosted by the insane amount of overs he churned through, as his strike rate in isolation (one wicket every 55.05 balls bowled) is great, but not eye-poppingly so, and has been surpassed by guys like Ashwin (53.10) and MacGill (54.02)
If you put the top three wicket-taking spinners of all-time, Murali, Warne, and Kumble (they also happen to be the top three in terms of most balls bowled in Test cricket, coincidentally, with other spinners like Vettori, Harbhajan, Lance Gibbs and Herath taking four of the next eight places), on a more equal footing in terms of workload (let's go with an even 20 overs bowled per innings bowled in, across the actual number of Tests they played, at the same strike rate), their career wicket tallies look a lot different:
Murali - 501 wickets (800 in reality)
Warne - 570 wickets (708 in reality)
Kumble - 429 wickets (619 in reality)
Marlon Samuels......On the flip side he bowled offspin. The very nature of the art is unlikely to leave someone with a better strike rate than a leg spinner. It’s death by a thousand cuts rather than every ball being a chance for a boundary or a wicket
I assume you've met him to label him a "loathsome human" ???Not to mention the bookie thing. Great cricketer, loathsome human. If he wasn't one of our own...
I assume you've met him to label him a "loathsome human" ???
Marlon Samuels......
And all the Windies cricketers who rooted around in the 70's and 80's.Fair to say that texting your own missus, accidentally, to tee up an extra-marital root, DURING AN ATTEMPTED RECONCILLIATION AFTER YOUVE BEEN CAUGHT HAVING AN AFFAIR is a pretty decent indicator
And all the Windies cricketers who rooted around in the 70's and 80's.
Model citizens I'm assuming???
So Warnes' a "Loathsome Human" (not your words I know).Um, no? You are getting so bad at arguing, it’s hilarious.
So Warnes' a "Loathsome Human" (not your words I know).
That makes Viv and the boys "Loathsome Humans" as well......
Ah....
The thread title.
Polarising players = Marlon......
No relation actually. If they were perpetually cheating on their partners relentlessly and doing all the garbage Warne has, then yeah probably.
What is he your brother or something?
No relation actually.
So with the Windies boys its a "yeah probably" only, its a "yeah definetly" actually.
They were dope smoking, groupie rooters......
They were dope smoking, groupie rooters......
So none of them were married? As opposed to Shane 'Married with Children' Warne.
See the potential difference?

With Warne its what he " has been doing", with your beloved Windies party boys its " if they were doing"......Oh for christ’s Sake. Yes, if they were doing the things Warne has been doing, yes, they’re s**t c***s.
Feel ok now your bum has been patted poor thing?
