For mine, it has to be the brilliant cd, and my personal most underrated album of all time, extended family's (ef@mm) "Happy **** You Songs".

A track on this one, called 'Line Drop' using the beat from Tetris at a frantically paced rate, just has classic line after line. Featuring NY underground gods PackFM, Tonedef, Substantial and Session, the track Line drop is one of the most original pieces of work in the history of Hiphop.

Watch as the beat from Tetris is sped up three tiems ot the point where it's almost striaght up drum and bass, then be blown away as Pack and Tone keep the speed up and absolutely demolish the track with their lyrics and insane ability to stay on beat.

check out the track, you'll be a fan instantly:

I agree.

That album was fire, I actually enjoyed all the tracks with no guest spots a lot more than I did the ones with the so called stars of Aftermath.

I actually went to the 50 cent show purely to see Obie.

Cheers > Anything released by Gunit, Eminem, Dre etc.

Best artist on shady/aftermath by a looooong way.

Its not necessarily huge under-rated or that old, but I'm surprised how little press it got at the time, and even now, good artist and a good album. It got props in the states via grammys and such, nothing here though.

Couldn't agree more. Unfortuantely I took my copy to a p!$$ up and someone used it as a coaster. Must go out and repurchase it.

I liked this one, strong return to form. Probably lost a bit of credibility, as the whole "Wu-Wear" atrocity was at its peak when this was released...

Nah dunno about the Iron Flag, personally I don't think it's that great at all

As for the brother ali album , I wouldn't say its really underated , I mean it is one of the best albums of all time but most people who listen to underground think its an amazing album and no one who has heard it thinks its bad. So it would only be underated in a fact that it hasn't hit mainstream yet.

Yeah, you got a point there...but as you said, I was thinking of it as being 'underrated' due to the fact that probably not enough people have listened to it...

There was some decent stuff on both that album and The W. But neither can compare to 36 Chambers and Forever. That album is underrated because it is not as good as the older Wu albums. Is still better than a lot of other stuff out there though.
