Lenny Hayes is one of my all time favourites and represented everything I love about the game. I consider myself very lucky to have watched he and the less talented but cut from a similar cloth Brett Kirk go head to head many times.

I've heard the story told. Dip thought the lazy campaigner wouldn't make it early in preseason before the footies came out. Then he saw him kick!

Jarman was not a great professional but he'd be right up there as the most naturally gifted footballer we've ever seen.
