After watching a great spectacle of footy, the Vic/SA State of Origin that was on the telly tonight.
Thought I'd have a go at a most entertaining team.
Only put in players I've seen and tried to include a bit of everything.

John Burke and there was Phil Carman he could be entertaining,Carl Ditterich was another after Bill Goggin had spent a quarter re living the war with big Carl.

Phil Carman would of made it for sure. Playing wise as well. And he looks like a pornstar. Still even now!
The guy commentating the John Burke thing would be the official commentator. Top Stuff .
Have heard about Ditterich. Took out many a player.
Also heard Carman kicked a ball into Ditterich's head at training and had to leave the club.

Which A. Walker is that? From Carlton? * If so, not sure about that.
As much as I didn't like Dermie the Peacock, being a Hawk, he was decent to watch for entertainment factor. Probably on the bench.

why did you put P. In front of matera when there were two P. Materas?

couldnt stand libba or crowley though. They made entertaining players boring. Effective as it may of been they are the last to make my list along with ling.

Yeah didn't think of that. I assure you it's Peter though.
It's all personal taste. I loved Libba and really enjoyed watching him play.
Crowley was the only reason to tune into a Freo game in that era. Even if it was a GF.
I never got to see those players either. Peter Knights seems like he would of been good to watch also.
I've seen that M.Mitchell goal of the year! F**k me dead that's some speed.

Capper and modra were basically the same player. Pure smallish full forwards who couldnt play anywhere else (so i only picked one) but could take awesome screamers. Modra the slightly better player. could of picked either Really.
