I just gave Mum some gift cards and a cookbook.

I have a card here that I forgot to write in and send in the mail in time for the weekend.

Rang my mum today randomly and at the end she said 'don't worry about ringing me tomorrow for mum's day - i know you love me'

I didn't even realise it was mother's day tomorrow

So yeah, I won't be doing anything

a text reminding her that most of my being screwed up is account of the crap job she did for the first 15 years of my life. Then ask for some money.

got blind last night in wollongong....

wake up thie morning feeling suprsingly good.... i'll actually get up, get back to sydney, see the folks and be in reasonable shape...

unfortunately me and a mate missed the 12.49 train home by about 3 minutes (at this stage we had no idea when the train left, we just went to the station).... no big deal, i say to my to mate: "lets go to the pub and we'll get the next one" (it's next door to the station)... that's good... get's to 1.35 and the beer's are going down an absolute treat... "whatever, we'll get the train after"... that's good... gets to 2.40 and we leave the pub... walk across the bridge to the station, watch the train leave the station...
me: "that's looks suspiciously like the train to sydney..."
mate: "yeah i think it does, didn't you say it was 2.49"
"yeah"...
"are you sure??"
"well no, but the other one was at 12.49 so i just assumed they were all 49 past the our"....
go down and ask the station guy if that was the sydney train or another one....
him: "nah sorry guys that was the sydney train"
me: "when's the next one??"
"3.49"
"it's only 2.45 how come that one's already gone"
"ooo yeah the train's all come at 49 past, except this one comes at 2.42"....

****ing really convenient that is.... that's seriosuly gotta be some guy with a braindead boring job of doing the train timetables joke of "how can i **** with people's heads...."

go back to the pub, get the 3.49 train, by which stage were pretty blind so there was no point not getting beers for the train. get back to the pub our 6.00pm dinner (with about 10 minutes to spare) with the parents and my brother, by which stage i'm pretty smashed and judging by the look on mum's face i've ruined mothers day....

all in all i'll give this day a 7 out of 10.

went home for the weekend to visit mum and decided to go down the local pub to see what was going on. Saw all the reasons I left the place and went back to where I currently live.

Lunch with Mum, sister and nephew. 1st mothers day for my sister so it was a little extra special.

Was my sister's birthday last week, nephew's birthday this week, and Mum's birthday next week so both Mum and my sister get doubly spoilt in May
