Kelso again messing up a weekend by being the only guy in the field who didn’t have a soft tyre for the shortened race and predictably going back wards…. Really is a lost cause with him

A lost cause ?? Lol
He has two Grand Prix left to win a race this year, next year he moveds to a Honda which has only just won for the first time in 27 races and to the worst team on team on the grid. His career his effectively over.

He is also 22 -23 halfway through next year. An age where he should be moving on not hanging around Moto 3

Ok.....

Don’t hate him at all but in terms of being talked up by some as some moto 3 gun he sadly isn’t. He refuses to battle for positions and has pretty average race craft…
5th in the title race against some pretty talented kids.

Not bad for a kid from Darwin. Your statement is ordinary at best.

Be nice if you could've been more even handed like this through the year instead of shitting on him at every opportunity with his average rides and completely ignoring his strong rides.

He's not the useless hack you've made him out to be. He's a very good but flawed rider, not far away from being a gun rider. He has had a very good season with a second tier team. It is a shame he's been demoted (undeservedly I think) to a lowly team because it probably will end his grand prix career.

How is a guy who won’t pass or battle for positions and ends up 95% of his races going backwards close to a gun?

He got the flick from the team he is currently at for the reasons I’ve outlined.

He’s done wonderful for a guy from Darwin but that’s going to be his claim to fame. Not a race winner

Fingers crossed for Noah. Horrific.

"Swiss news publication Blick reports that it has been told by Dettwiler’s father that the 20-year-old rider suffered multiple cardiac arrests after his crash. Additionally, he has injured his spleen and lungs and lost a substantial amount of blood, as well as an open fracture in one of his legs."

Man you're embarrassing

Thanks but what have I said is wrong? If in so embarrassing prove me wrong
The guy is top 5 in a VERY competitive world championship series.

Better than just about every Aussie whos ever raced in 125/Moto3. Thats better than just "wonderful for a guy from Darwin"

He is close to being a gun rider, but he's not there and maybe he doesn't get there. Moto3 is closely fought and the tolerances between top riders and the next tier are tight. Joel consistently runs in the lead group with the gun riders and sits top 6 in the world championship. He needs to take one more small step and be a bit more aggressive - it doesn't even need to be heaps - to elevate and go from running with the leaders to beating them. If it doesn't come naturally though then it is hard to force in order to make that next step and if he doesn't take it then he'll remain that small step behind the best.

That Tonucci has decided he can't take the guy who has delivered half of the teams total podiums any further is his business decision. Hopefully Bertelle can overcome the horrors of 2025 and become the rider he wants next year.
