If our finance and sponsorship issues are truly related to our home ground, then we have to move. Assuming what we are told is correct, I am in favour of a move. Not thrilled with the Docklands surface and the impact on our players so MCG is my favoured option but I will be excited to see a more dynamic, better marketed Blues machine operating next year whatever decision we make.
I would like to see "blockbusters" (4 games) at the G, Minor crowd drawing games against interstate sides at Optus & the balance at Telstra Dome (4 or 5 games).
Although this eliminates a home ground advantage, if a move is on, most clubs play at the G or TDome anyway so the "advantage" is almost non existant.
What it will do is give us exposure to the 2 "finals" grounds & an alround ability to play at different venues.
In reality, I think it will be one of the 2 venues & low drawing games at Optus as this will probably bring the best financial return to the club.
