I was just talking to my aunty and she said she was listening to k-rock on the weekend, and she said that the doggies might only have this year and next year at the telsta dome, then we may be moving to geelong.
What does every one think of this?
I didnt hear it myself, but i dont think it would be a good idea. I think they could move back to the whitten oval, then could build a new grand stand(if thats possible) that will hold a few more people.
I'm sure that would be a better idea than moving to geelong. Might get a few members back to the club as well.

You might have heard it Mel but its very far from the truth. Relocation to geelong? The ground and city struggles with one club.

One game at Geelong...against Fremantle or West Coast...yeah it might work financially.

Moving to Geelong for more than that would be a very bad move.

It was a story in todays ADDY suggesting after the upgrade teams like StKilda,North or the Dogs will find it more financially beneficial to play games at Skilled Stadium than Telstra Dome.

Yeah...if you conveniently ignore the fact that all of our supporters, as well as the supporters of every other melbourne based club, live about an hour away and couldn't be stuffed going.

Not ALL the supporters kiddo. Believe it or not there are actually quite a number of Doggies supporters in the Geelong area, not to mention all the ones who live in Werribee and Hoppers Crossing who would be more than happy to trot down to Corio Bay to watch their beloved team play.
