Don’t blame the messenger Slenko. I didn’t create the Evil Empire and I didn’t create the funnel of money that goes straight to them.

Good to see everyone contributing in a slow news week though.

FP

Full of accusations but you are yet to prove one shred of evidence. You will be far more convincing if you produced one relevant fact that backed up your arguement.

Saying that I would encourage both Horsham & United to both walk from the City Oval and join Stawell. That would save both clubs about $10k per year and gain a better facility.

Stawell do not pay one red cent but do have to maintain the oval and keep it in a clean state. Far better deal than the City Oval co-tenants will ever see and yes they too have an upstairs facility built over a community building.

Couch has gone to Quantong, Hoe is off to Geelong and both Kelms are going to Taylors Lake. Denson is out for most of the season with a knee reco as is Butch with a shoulder I believe. Pumphrey is talking to several district league clubs but has not yet made an announcement to the club.

New coach Durbridge will possibly be one of the best two or three in the league in 2011. Watson will be joint coach.

In the know there FP. source? ;)

Well thats a lie Stawell does have to pay User fees for Central park, not sure what compared to City Oval but is still a fair chunk of money..

"Andrew Bell is jumping back on board to play with his brother Tim. Big whispers of Riley McFarlane coming on board and in talks with a few more out of the HDFL. Aj McKenzie is returning from Ballarat and could well be draggin his brother Ryan (from Roosters) with him. Plus a big recruit out of the SANFL could be returning home for a potential flag. Wheels in motion and big things happening at the eagles at the moment."

McFarlane will stay at Kalkee. But also heard that some very handy ex Brimaknabeal players to return for the coming season.

Fisher or Clayton? or u just talking shit like always moose? ur reputation on this site is going down hill mate. lift ur game

Apart from the fact you just made all that up you can’t compare Stawell’s situation with the free run Horsham always get. Nobody can realistically argue that the Horsham Football club have contributed any more than a token amount compared to that of the tax payer.

Who is making stuff up? Why can't we compare Stawell situation? You may be best to check who paid for lights on south side of ground (before current lights), who paid for netball clubrooms to be built? Who has had to contribute to the resealing of netball courts everytime they have been resealed? who has paid for upkeep of scoreboard? all of which are hired out to commumity groups by council with Horsham receiving nothing. All the time paying rent, rates & utilities totalling $10k pa.

FP you need to get your facts straight and stop making accusations that you never back up with facts just innuendo.

You could also note both Horsham & United contributed 500 man hours each to the recent renovation to change rooms. The ones who get a free ride are the one of users who pay $50 for the use of the oval for the day eg Rebels.

Up keep of the score board!!! It’s a disgrace.

Lets just address one issue will we. Sounds like you are bit shallow?

Thats what you get from joint tenancy as no one takes responsibility any more, which further disproves your argument.

So FP lets clarify are you talking present or 40-50 years ago? Make your mind up!

Your right, The Empire do need to start to take responsibility.

There you go again making a statement without any supporting facts! Why should Horsham take more responsibility than co-tenants? How do other clubs operate on their community owned ovals?

Before co-tenancy these were looked after by Horsham. So I will repeat my question, which is only one of those you seem to ignore. Are you talking now or 40-50 years ago? Most of your concerns seemed to have happened even before television was introduced but you quote modern day situations to support your argument.

Up keep of the score board!!! It’s a disgrace.

On this subject FP, lets compare to all scoreboards in the WFL. Ararat-makes City Oval 10/10. Minyip makes city oval 11/10. So quote me 3 scoreborads in WFL better than City Oval?

Nhill you can never quite see the score as there is always someone in front of the score. Saints is no better than City Oval. Eagles no better than City Oval. Dimboola no better than city oval.

Righto Smasher you peanut. You always seem to know whats happening, what more can you tell us?

You said, along with a great many other things, that Horsham had contributed to the up keep of the scoreboard through their own resources and not that of the tax payer. It’s time to name that incredible work that the Empire has completed on the scoreboard.

The Stawell football club has always paid for the use of their ground. Have a look at the local government books. Stop making things up.

I can assure you I am not making things up. I have named the source of my information a lot more than I can say for you. If the info from such source is incorrect then so be it. I have named the source a lot more than what you have ever done.

City Oval is as good as any scoreboard in the Wimmera and Horsham maintained that scoreboard for many years before co-tenancy came along. I challenged you to name better scoreboards in the WFL and you have not.

You have failed to supply one shred of evidence or supportive fact to your claims. You isolate one item from a series of many questions posed to you and then make unsubstantiated claims.

If you know so much, how much has Stawell contributed to Central Park per annum over the years? I would be interested to hear your answer and your source!

Pop quiz. Name your top 5 gamebreaking impact players of the last 5 years.

Mine not in any order would be:
Johns
Arnell
Tuckey (when fit)
Kelm
Carr

McFarlane is staying at Kalkee which is unforunate. Signed a big forward out of Jeparit/Rainbow who is looking very good on the track at the moment.

Pffft the kid played reserves at the start of the year and played rebels? He stuffed us around and wanted too much coin! I have a feeling that it could be someone like Terry Arnel, David Johns or Muddy Anson, Just a feeling tho :D
