Good recruit for the eagles. im pretty sure harrison won the rats b&f in his last year and represented vic country from avoca after getting bog in the interleague. He has moved north hasnt he?

Would have thought Skurrie was still registered with Horsham as he has played for no one since, so really only needs to agree to play.
On that note though have heard that Muddy Anson has signed with Natimuk. Anyone add any light on this?

I dont disagree with you but then I dont agree with you on some things. The WFUA do like their money, or some of them have that a priority instead of umpiring for the game. But we should be paying them good money as it is a hard gig. Club umpires will not be superior to the ones we have now. They dont know how to get into the right positions to make a decision and their signaling of a decision is very average. They would have to have some specialised training if this is to work. I dont know what the answer is, but perhaps the WFL commission should have gradually phased in club umpires in the reserves and maybe u17's (if they had the numbers) next season and gradually form their own association instead of the cart before the horse analogy. At the moment John Smith will have to umpire next season, maybe him and **** Schultz could umpire in tandem.
You still sound like you are on the WFL commission Fancy?

Now that would be one of best things to happen to the League if somehow it could be done. Could cost a bit I would imagine, but maybe the League could at least ask the question to the powers that be in Melbourne, they can only say no.

Are the Wmt doing there job? This has been out a while now plus a number of other recruits for the demons. Or i put this up are they not reporting because its the demons! Maybe the demons and eagles are giving nothing out to reporters either!!!
The Mail Times are doing the ring around this week fancy. There will be burra recruiting news in Fridays paper.

Well i can shed a bitta light on the matter with the burras, have signed back Chris Walsh and possibility of John Kosch, and looking at couple of laharum boys to come across!
Chris Walsh, a Kalkee premiership player, 2 brothers and another ex burra returning home.

By the sounds of the recruiting going on you would think the eagles v demons match will be a cracker! Both are loaded with guns should be a great game.
Schultz v Skurrie..... that is worth the admission price alone.

I dont understand what the hype is surrounding Warrack. They have only signed 4 players which includes the coaches and have lost one of thier best onballers in Cade Wellington. Grant Schultz is a good CHF but there are better proven CHFs in the comp: Hargraves, Tuckey, Fratin. Also I heard that Steve will be lucky to play next year after having an operation on his adominal region, can anyone shed light on this?
My tip is Horsham v Warrack result will be similar to round 1 2010...

Andrew Brown is the kalkee player, 25yrs old, strong chb with great skills. Burras have recruited well picking up 8 quality players with more on the way. John Del my tip for the toohey.
Confirmed a while back in the WMT that the Kalkee Player is Andy Brown.

I just have a really good feeling about next year, Warrack should give Horsham a crack for their money and that hopefully we will be the club to rise, Hope the umpire's dispute is sorted before the end of the year!

I think the Burra's need more than that to be a real contender. At this point still put my money on Horsham / Warrack being top 2 then plenty of daylight to the rest.

Gunna be interesting, there has been talk of a resurgence for the Burras the last couple of years with Lenny Clarke etc playing yet they have still failed to perform. Walshy will smash up with Wimmera League, he was rarely beaten last year playing in the VAFA.
I know Ararat havent lost many, if any, and have picked up a few so I dont think they will slide too much. No clue what's happening at Stawell but I heard a whisper Eales was heading back to Penshurst...

I actually heard he is staying at stawell and bringing his younger brother with him. So bumbles i have heard both stories - who would know.
