Anyone know of any good brands that make them with over say 10 gig storage space??

There's a few out now... Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen. Toshiba have just released one. Archos Jukebox. Though IMHO the best of the lot is the Apple iPod.

You get what you pay for

Though they have just dropped the prices.... 10GB model for $530, 20GB model for $700 and 40GB model for $900 (about 12 months ago I bought a 20GB model for $1050!)

I guess it's not just about the price and storage. The interface is the best I've seen.

I got an MP3 player a while ago, I wanted to get a HD based one, but I mean look at the prices. Do you really want to pay that much money for something that _just_ plays music?


In the end I went with a flash memory player simply known as "George", 128mb storage, and I paid about $180 for it.

I just chased up a 40G XCLEF HD-500 for $650. Looks awesome too. So that might be the go.

Iriver have also released a HD mp3 player called the IHP i think. It has a few features that the comp. doesn't but I think it is a little more expensive.
