MP3s on DVD

Have put a heap of MP3s on DVD - can fit around 700 on one DVD.
Only problem is that only my PC recognises them.
Are there any MP3 players out that will read them off DVDs rather than Cds, or are any in the pipeline?

My dvd player plays just about everything, MP3,Jpeg,MPEG etc..

However A lot won't, you have to read the box carefully, it tells you what it plays on the box.

I've never heard of a portable MP3 player that reads off DVD.

Interesting question. Have you tried it in a DVD player with mp3 playing capability? Most CD/mp3 players won't be able to read the disc as the drive would only be a CD drive.

No, my DVD player doesn't play them off DVD, although it plays MP3s off CDs.
