hello all, whats everyone hearing about high profile player signings because im not hearing much?
a Ex afl player to coach a mpfnl team.
Hooper from port melbourne and josh butland to hastings.
rumours circulating the clarke brothers are leaving sorrento.
Devon Meadows in talks with key forwards, is paddy ryder coming back?
whats everyone been hearing?
 
Chelsea should be trying to get a U19s team and invest in the junior club instead of trying to buy a premiership and then choke in the finals again. Played most games last year on maximum points so I don’t know how they are going to fit all these guys in points wise and salary cap would be a issue or will they just cheat the salary cap again.

Sure has taken a while. Pretty hard to recruit when you don’t even have a coach yet. Most clubs are already out there recruiting and re signing players, it definitely puts you behind the 8 ball the longer you leave it. Seaford and Pearcedale are in similar situations.
Freeman from Tyabb signed at Garfield. Big loss for them

Lachie Sharp back to Somerville from Pines.
Hugo Clarke from Edi to Mordialloc.
Crib Point picked up a few.

Chelsea will have an Under 19 side next year in its own right and going forward for a long time. Junior club has done a lot of work over the last 3 years. Club is in a very healthy position both on and off field.

Helps when you get a $1 million inheritance from a supporter. Not sure things are all rosy on field,no youth coming through due to not having 19s for a number of years and a ageing list. Will need to recruit heavily too be competitive again. Points will be a issue

Rye on the up but their most important signing is to sign up Edward Greene. Some clubs closer to the city having a big crack.
Can see Pearcedale slipping down the ladder next year. I believe Brett Eddy and Ryan Bastinac have retired,2 big losses for them and maybe a couple more retiring.
