I was lucky enough to be at the Eastern end of the Gabba where I could see close up some of his fine work on the weekend.

After a lot of angst about how our team is travelling & why it was a real pleasure to be able to just get out there & enjoy the footy.

How good will he be? Dunno, but I think he is pretty good now. Apparently CHF is a difficult position & we are very fortunate to have him.

Well done to Johnathon Brown. 7 Goals is a good result for a CHF who leads & marks. Young Daniel Bradshaw was sitting 1 row in front of me & his body language during the game suggested that he could see his footy career dis-appearing. I hope not because I think he is a talented young player, but appears to have other things on his mind & not concentrating hard enough on his own performance. Good luck to both players & come on DB break the shackles & show us your ability.

I agree, MO. He is one talented player (they both are!). We had three talls operating last year - why can't we do it this year. Especially if we return to a long kicking game, requiring talls. It bloody works for Richmond. I'm still confident it can work, even if one has to sit on the bench - and they rotate. Sounds like Bradshaw struck form in the 2's. All he can do is keep his head up. "Brown to Bradshaw" has a ring about it!

Brown when he develops will be a very good CHF. He has the signs of becoming the best CHF in the league. If Brisbane get rid of him, then they will pay the price. Brisbane better do all they can to hold onto him.

Jonathon brown is happy in qld. reminds him of warnambool where he played his junior footy. And there's the fitzroy connection. Dad Bryan played for the roy boys an brown followed them as a kid. He's making a mark in a talented team thats on the way up, so why would he want to leave or why would the lions want to let him go?

It was great to finally see a big, tough CHF at the Lions who can mark the ball and kick reasonably straight. Good on ya Browny!!!

What impressed me the most on Saturday night was the Lion's delivery into the forward line. The was no kick and hope big bombs into the forward line, like there has been in previous weeks. The inclusion of McRae I think has really been the catalyst for this. Fly's ability to pinpoint a leading forward 50m out is excellent, and something that the lions have been missing while he has been sidelined with injuries.
