I think Mr Robot could be his dad in his subconscious. As pointed out earlier, nobody else sees him. His whole goal is revenge and its driving him insane.

Mr Robot is Tyler Durden and I would be very very surprised if he wasn't.

He jumped. The psych lady was about to say it just before he cut her off. Mr Robot didn't push him because he isn't real.

That was pretty trippy but I like the way it depicted his dreaming. It felt pretty realistic, like a lot of us are used to. You can be having a dream that seems pretty real but then there's little things out of place or different or find yourself in one place one minute and then another in the next.

IMHO Mr. Robot is not a hallucination or a 'Tyler Durden style' split personality created by Elliot. He's a real person.
