I'm glad they showed a glimpse at the start of Ep 7 of how he met Shayla. Nice touch. Cool Cure song.

The hairs on the back of me neck stood up as Shayla walked away after she and Elliot chatted on the steps while she listened to The Cures Pictures of You playing quietly in the background on her phone and then as she walked away it played over the opening credits.
Again something so simple which make this a brilliant TV show.

If I was worried about anything for the show, it would have been how they did the reveal of Mr. Robot. Needn't of worried. It still had Fight Clubish elements to it, but handled very differently. I love Elliot the narrator and audience narrative.

Darlene revelation was stunning, but makes so much sense. Was particularly confused at the start of the episode.

Tyrell and his wife are fascinating to watch too. The dynamics in that relationship is something else. Was unsure of their fit to everything else before this episode, but have to assume it'll take a more central role now.

And Holy Shit at BD Wong playing Whiterose.

I think Mr Robot could be his dad in his subconscious. As pointed out earlier, nobody else sees him. His whole goal is revenge and its driving him insane.

could be. He's substituting his fathers face on him? Then there's another reveal to come. Do the other two techies at the boardwalk look about the age of ex employees that would have worked for his dad? There's a lot to come. Definitely the only show I hang out for ATM.

Did Elliot create a fictional version of himself in his drugged up state, which is why he forgets who Darlene is? Who Mr Robot is? This is so hard to get the head around!

I thought the voiceovers were just him talking to himself, the same way we talk to ourselves when we go through out thoughts. The concept of actually creating an imaginary self is very out there.
