Albeit a more obvious one (I thought he was in a mental hospital myself).

This guy nailed it:

http://www.pajiba.com/mr_robot/evidence-that-elliot-in-prison-in-season-2-of-mr-robot.php

This one caught me more off guard - I blame it on the slow pacing of Angela subplot. I don't know what I've missed but her arc makes no sense to me.

I never pieced together what Price's fascination with her was to give her carte blanche during a time of turmoil, only to effectively throw her under the bus? Is she just his play thing/ personal project?

Thoughts on Tyrell?

He's alive IMO. Elliott might have shot him like Mr Robot says but we didn't actually hear that he's dead right? There's no way Eliott moved and disposed of Tyrell's body on his own. Esmail wants us to think he's dead but I'm convinced it's being set up so he can be reintroduced in a big way. Taking a compelling and key character like Tyrell and hiding him for so long only to reveal he died off screen just makes no sense for this show.

I'm convinced his wife is setting up the DJ boyfriend to take the fall for killing Sharon Knowles. The reveal that they met at an E Corp party, plus all the strangulation stuff and a flashback this week featuring Mrs Knowles at an E Corp party is just too much to ignore.

Try to frame him by claming he was trying to do the same to her?

Something like that probably. I could also see her going down the path of claiming it was an attempt to frame Tyrell so that they could be together. Him mentioning that he's told his friends all about their relationship and the fact he was so pissed that she missed his party would make it easy for her to portray him as a jealous lover IMO.

Watched all 17 episodes. Great show visually. The rest of it good. Style is a bit stronger than the substance. I rate it a solid B. Can see why people who only watch Hoyts movies think it A+++.

The sooner hipster FBI agent dies the better.

M̶e̶r̶y̶l̶ ̶S̶t̶r̶e̶e̶p̶'̶s̶ ̶d̶a̶u̶g̶h̶t̶e̶r̶ Agent DiPierro is going to get poisoned by a tampered lollipop. First season used the popcorn to set up something, this season is using the lollipops.

Hmm... hadn't thought of this. I guess we had seen her being into kinky shit before, so it didn't stand out that much, but I like this. I'm in.

Anyone else a bit disappointed that
Elliot actually is in prison? I feel like there were so many hints that he was at least in a mental hospital that the bigger twist would have been that all this were happening out in the real world. Though I'm assuming the letter he was talking to the doc about is for his release, so he'll probably be out pretty soon anyway.

And I really hope that this isn't the end of Craig Robinson on the show, because he has been great all season. But it felt like his last scene was a big farewell, which was and is actually pretty heartbreaking.

It's cool that people were surprised by it. The theory was floated around after the first episode, and for me - even though I didn't want to believe it- the jig was up when on the first Hacking Robot aftershow, Andy Greenwald (the host) asked everyone a one word answer to sum up their character's journey or something and Malek said 'Committed'.

Would have loved to have been surprised by it as well, but the actual reveal was so masterfully done that I can't stay disappointed for too long.

I think we're bound for an episode solely focused on what happened to Tyrell (and whatever he's up to now ;))

Can't remember why they thought working out of the rich woman's house was a good idea?

An episode without Elliot was pretty good.

First time I've downloaded the USA Network broadcast. All the muted ****s is annoying and the picture is worse.

Yeah I watched it live and the muting is hilarious. It starts at like 10pm here too, there's really no need to bleep things.

Only seen the first ep of season 2 and boy did I struggle to get through it. Towards the end of season 1 - things started to
Dip, after a great start. But wow that first ep of S2 felt like it fell off the rails. does
It get better?

My heart sank when I heard the return fire from Dom in that diner shootout. How the **** does she survive two Dark Army hits?

If thats darlene's blood over her face Im done with this show.

Hoping its the boyfried but the blood mist that shot up after one of the hits came from where Darlene would have been not as though that would confirm anything.

I've watched that scene back a few times now and the splatter on Dom's face is definitely from Cisco, it looks like he cops the brunt of that initial burst straight to the head. It looks like Darlene might have been able to duck in time though so hopefully she's ok.

Apparently Dom has been a real fan favourite this season but I find her awkward personality and shit interpersonal skills so grating. Plus anyone who refers to killing one's self as 'deleting their history' is a dead set flog.

Don't forget the cute lollipop shtick! The biggest hack in history that brings down the whole economy and she is the best agent they had? :drunk:

But that's kind of the whole point of her character.

Being young and highly intelligent but also not being socially graceful isn't like some new character trait invented by the show. But it is why Dom and Elliot share some parallels and that seems pretty intentional by Esmail. Not to say that they are alternate versions of each other, because Dom is the inverse of Elliot in the way she apparently does not dream, but also how she views things like control.

Whatever though, each to their own, just seems a weird take to have after that episode because goddamn that was ****ing great. Such a pretty shot, as soon as the bike rolls up, which you know what its about, but the camera just stays there. Perfect.

Also re Dom surviving the hit, she's a trained FBI field agent. You have to look at her specifically, but she sees the shooter before anyone else and ducks before he opens fire. Nothing superheroey about it, just competent at her job.

Give me next week ending on Tyrell, and then finale all in from Tyrell's perspective.
