It was pretty clear that Duman intended to hit Whitfield. It doesn't matter whether he aimed elsewhere; the act of striking was intentional.
Absolutely. But because all the terms for impact and intention are subjective, the MRO can use whichever they like for their determined outcome. It was as intentional as Danger, Dusty, even Whitfield's hit on Duman (which by that measure should be low impact to the body and intentional for a fine). But more often than not, these types of contact (that are clearly intentional strikes either don't get looked at or graded as a fine via careless/low impact).

One week is right for Duman, I hope all other cases are treated equally.

To be fair, he knows he initiated it and probably knows he played it up a little bit.

Definitely gained some respect for him though, maybe he deserves a trade in to my fantasy side:think:

Yep. Said to a mate during the game I didn't realise he could play inside as well. Gonna win a brownlow one day if he keeps on this trajectory. Just an absolute gun of a player. Did LOL at his joke about paying the fine too.
