I reckon Fyfe's raising his arm so that Lynch's skull doesn't crash into his skull. You see he has his hand out first towards the ball and is about to push through the contest then changes his action.
There was no force in behind it and the result was that impact was in the neck area, Lynch was falling anyway and he got straight back up an ran off.

The Jetta suspensions for that tackle is an absolute joke.
pinned the arms and head slammed into the turf, even danger went for that 2 years ago, cost him a brownlow
When two players from the same team get sanctioned for the same arm pin slam tackle in the same game I suspect this is something practiced at training
Jetta with the softest ‘hard guy’ move of all time.
The Melbourne Bloke didn’t even resist yet tough guy Jetta gives him everything he’s got.

What's wrong with some of our supporters. Fyfe should of been suspended for his indiscretion that caused nil damage but Jetta who pins the arms of a player who had stopped and slams him into the ground causing concussion should have got off. FFS really.
exactly like their tactic of dropping the knees and lifting the arm for free kicks. They denied it for years until the weight of evidence had them admit it was trained and coached into the team.

Strange, I cannot any MRP article for this round. It used to be up on matchday recently.
