and you have a grand total of 2 posts in his player thread both were after his delisting

Its not impossible, but its rare, good young key forwards you usually get in the national draft or the trade and free agency period, ones that are established and experienced but most of the good ones usually sign on with the club that gives them their chance in the draft so lately its been bit of a baron field.

Wasn't a MSD selection but seem to recall Benny Brown missed a few drafts before landing with us at 20 or 21 or something like that....so yes it is definitely possible.

Still played at local level by the sounds of it. I'd say we wanted to see if he could play as a forward in that VFL game, as they would've known what he could do as a defender.

I heard Coop was very lucky to be renewed this season. That said, I think his form warrants another shot at afl level. But with RHJ plus Konstanty also on the list, let's see who wants to work hard for that spot, we certainly don't need 5 small forwards plying their trade in the VFL.
