No different to last year. The A side is locked in, none are being pushed out by players in the B side.
That one is unfortunately in the highlights clip, and it's not good.Nah, Milera was solid.
Lost one marking contest he'd usually kill but otherwise racked up a bit of the ball and used it without too many issues.
Pedlar didn't impress me. Had a couple of moment but overall disappointing. Liked Schoenberg game. They won’t be pushed out by players in the B-side, but we have four [emoji640] returning for R[emoji637] (Rankine, Cumming, Max, Sholl) so decisions must be made…. Plus watching Berry, Pedlar and Schoenberg rip it up in the second half bodes well for the magoos prospects

You were watching a different Pedlar to most of us.... he was average at best, Berry and Harry slightly better. They won’t be pushed out by players in the B-side, but we have four [emoji640] returning for R[emoji637] (Rankine, Cumming, Max, Sholl) so decisions must be made…. UnlikelyNicks is just doing his annual bullshit of forgetting the final rounds of last year and basing his 22 on players form vs traffic cones and team mates in January. Milera probably looks great doing this and he plays over Nank due to seniority. He'll take until round 5 to figure this out...
None of them played in the B side thoughBeg to differ.
We've got 4 A graders currently sitting out of the side. If Sholl and Max are fit they play, Cumming plays the trial this week as does Rankine.
By no means is the A side locked in, not all of it.
Curtins versatility helpsFogarty was fine, valid question how our forward line will look including Walker, Fogarty, Thilthorpe and Curtin though. My guess for now is it doesn't quite work and Curtin gets forced out.
Semantics.... lol.None of them played in the B side though
Pedlar tried hard I thought , had a real crackPedlar didn't impress me. Had a couple of moment but overall disappointing. Liked Schoenberg game.
Or we sub Tex out.Curtins versatility helps
On certain days it will work and on others he can go onto wing or into midfield
Some days he may be subbed out for a runner
Or inOr we sub Tex out.
That'll happen a bit i reckon
Hopefully we see Nank start against brisbane in Milera position , I think it’s pretty clear Nank deserves itNicks is just doing his annual bullshit of forgetting the final rounds of last year and basing his 22 on players form vs traffic cones and team mates in January. Wow hadn’t thought of this but could be handy occasionallyOr in
Yeah, I think Nank pushed himself right back into the first 222nd or 3rd best performed on the night for sure

Think it’s probably better to sub a runner in?Wow hadn’t thought of this but could be handy occasionally
Let’s say Max is available round 1 ( I have my doubts and would prob be cautious with him ) what you think happens at selection ?Beg to differ.

A fresh Tex when everyone if fatigued would be pretty dangerousThink it’s probably better to sub a runner in?
Someone who will take advantage of general fatigue across the ground. Tex won’t really do that
I’d say he was generally average. Got involved, but didn’t use the ball to his best capabilitiesI think, being objective, Milera WAS solid. Not better than down, but no disaster either.
You think Nank is any chance of starting this week and playing round 1 ? I hope soNo doubt the injured guys will come in, but they weren't playing in the Bs. Injury notwithstanding, Berry, Pedlar, Schoey and even Jones are going to have a fair task unseating the theoretical best 22. The below doesn't even include Draper. I've asterisked the players who I reckon might be at selection risk after a few weeks of poor performances. But I would be very surprised if any of those are dropped to the 2s in the first few games. AFGM posted he thought both Nank and Bond were strong chances with Dowling and another being sneaky chances. All promising players that have performed when given a chance, but someone has to miss. At this stage I reckon only Sholl will miss, Max probably 50/50.
