Came here to type this (re Pedlar) and I couldn’t have said it better Jeff.

I don’t think he’ll ever play another senior game for the club unless there’s about 5 simultaneous injuries to small/mediums ahead of him. Tbh, I’d pick all of Schoenberg, Berry, Cook, Ryan and Dowling ahead of Pedlar without blinking, and none of them are going to be anywhere near the Rd 1 side. Goes without saying that Nank and Taylor are also ahead of Pedlar, and it doesn’t appear as though either of those two are playing in Rd 1 either.

***Note: Nank and Taylor would BOTH be in the Rd 1 side if I had anything to do with it. Playing Milera and Laird over Nank is garbage and I would absolutely find a way to get Taylor in there also, even if it squeezed out Draper initially.

Pedlar is done IMO.

Its a chance to stretch the legs against another side and blow out the cobwebs and sharpen up. As we get more match practice, i'd expect our forwards to gel better and it could be pretty ominous when it does

Why the hell is Nicks persisting with Crouch? Offers nothing post-stoppage and if he gets the ball, just kicks 15m sideways or back. If Crows are to become a serious team, need to move past him. Much like Brisbane with Jarryd Lyons.

Peatling, Soligo, Rankine, Dawson and Draper should be the five mids going forwards.

Game has moved past players like Crouch. Unbelievably limited player. The amount of times I saw his opponent today put 10m on him in a matter of seconds, particularly JHF. Will get burnt in big games against good teams with him in there.

Looked ok to me & had a decent preseason.

Moving far better than last year.

He's a first possession mid, but yes against speedy midfields he does need speed around him.

Butts and Nankervis are good depth and Dowling has the potential but if the others are playing many games I don't think we would be having a great season.
