I said it was cheating. I concede to what Filthy is saying but my point is more that it takes the skill out of the game if you just click on profiles looking for a hit. I view the thread only and rely on getting a read on things that way.

I agree that it takes all the skill and strategy out of it.
It's a bluffing game. My bluffing is what got me through to endgame last time round.

Checking whether people are engaged in an Pm is like screen peeking. Not exactly cheating but it's a dick move. Hard to lay fault at HumanMeatball though if he didn't know.

Haven't seen it come up since like my 2nd or 3rd game when somebody tried to pin me as evil because I was in a pm, And they were right.

some posters spend half their time in pms if they are in leadership groups. Others barely ever use Pm, and if caught its very likely werewolf related, Especially if they are new to bigfooty.

If the pms are related to this game, For all we know though, you may have outed the serial killer or the seer.

It's worth keeping in mind, and they are probably good candidates for a seer. But you wouldn't want to knock them off just for the sake of being in a Pm. Once the good roles are claimed or known it might be more incriminating.
