Heard this idea on Sen of them making a team of one club players vs a team of players who have played for multiple teams.

Thought it might be fun to have a go. (AFL era)

One club backline is so much better. Elsewhere I think the multi-club is in front, that forward line is insane.

Agreed on all counts.

As ridiculous as the multi-club forward line is, I reckon the one club forward line has a better chance of dominating the multi club backline than the other way around, such is the quality of the one club backline.

As good as he was, personally not sure Ricciuto should be in the one club forward pocket - as he was primarily a mid.

I'd prefer to see Peter Daicos and if he doesn't count (he should IMO), Stephen Milne or Cyril Rioli.

Also think the one club team have an edge in the ruck, with Gawn and Cox up against Salmon solo.

Yes, the full back line was hard to decide on.
Riccutio kicked 45 in 06 when playing forward, though I do agree with you and would also consider Mark Le Cras as a left field option.

Was surprised at the lack of ruckmen for the multi club team as they move around so much.

Didn't your bloke Ottens get all Australian? He went OK.
Jolly was also a good player

I thought this was going to be a thread about whether a West Coast + Richmond combined 23 could beat Brisbane, or would you need West Coast, Richmond and North? Maybe the whole bottom 4?

Shame.
Stuff wildcard round, make the grand final winner play a game against a best 23 of the bottom 4 teams. If they don’t win no premiership awarded that season

Glen Jakovich and Guy McKenna equally good shouts for the one-teamers and Brad Hardie for the other mob.
