I'm on a diet though so i won't really want to be eating after 7pm

i was looking forward to this all day

now more looking at computers... eugh

Why don't you suggest to her that she go out and work so that you can stay home and watch telly? As a sweetner, you could offer her exclusive viewing rights for an hour or so when she gets home.
 
your mum sounds pretty insensitive, i hope you told her how rude and selfish she is being

If you're working, buy your own you tightarse, if there's no outlet in your room pay someone to come and put one in. Do you even pay board you sponger?

Who paid for the tv? Who pays the power bill? Who pays for the Foxtel if it's connected? Probably not you.
