Memories are good, aren't they?

Nice bit of work by Pendlebury there where he loses Judd and watches Murphy and Judd run away from him. That play is identical to Pendlebury losing his opponent in Goodwin who ran on and kicked the match winner.

Spooky. :)

But Pendlebury excels at one per centers.

LOL! That just settles it then doesn't it? Pendles (not tagging) but going head to head with Judd, loses him in traffic... Murphy gets the ball... Fraser and Obree who are IN FRONT of Pendlebury don't chase. Pendlebury is behind two team mates, yet you expect him to chase Murphy (who wasn't even his opponent)?

Ohhh the stupidity just astounds me. Brings a smile to my face though, almost reinforces my superiority complex. :)

That play is nearly identical to Pendlebury losing Goodwin in round 22 last year.

We really need a growing compilation package of the meek efforts from Back Peddlebury. His handbreaks are now Trademark. He usually delivers us one or two a game. I especially like the way he a does the "disguised effort" i.e just goes off the line to avoid physical contact at the last moment. :)

I know many passionate Collingwood supporters yet don't know one who don't live their lives around a Magpies Utopian society where they don't have a bad player on their list and still think they are the best in the business. Some of the dribble that comes out of pies supporters mouth should be the first cracker at the comedy gala.
Face the facts and open your one eye pies supporters, your window of opportunity has closed for another decade or two and Eddie running around all day with brief cases of money trying to buy every little thing that interest him is turning the club into more of a business than a footy club. Hopefully Daisy's hair extensions are next on the priority list :thumbsu:

Hahaha. How ignorant of you. Of course, it's only Collingwood supporters who overrated their list.. I mean, how dare we suggest Pendlebury is better than Murphy, when his stats and sheer quality on the field back it up. Carlton have never overrated their list, have they? I've heard some absolutely ridiculous claims regarding certain players, such as Gibbs, Walker, Bower among plenty more... I can't even think of their names. And no, our window of opportunity is wide open. Everyone seems to have a down year before they really push hard for a flag. Look at Geelong in 2006 after their great 05. Everyone mocked their supporters who suggested they were a chance in 2007. We all know how that went.

Honestly, some of the dribble that comes out of Carlton fans' mouths, it just astounds me. It's quite amusing though, I mean you've been arrogant supporters for years with absolutely nothing to back it up. And now that you've won a couple of games, you're suddenly the best thing since sliced bread.

almost forgot..

Yep, we know. It's about time you beat us, you were certainly due after what was it.... 4 or 5 times in a row you'd lost to us? Regardless, I have full confidence we will bounce back. And FWIW, just because you beat us, it doesn't suddenly make you a better side. Better teams lose to lesser teams all the time, that's football. You have your good days and your bad days. Shame for you that round 4 was our worst day, and probably your best... yet 23 points seperated us. :thumbsu:

Oh and BTW: If you think we think we don't have a bad player on our list... you're delusional. Check our board now. We all know the players that need to go, and we've known it for ages. It's a shame our coach doesn't.

Pendlebury > Murphy.

From a neutral supporters perspective, it is hard to seperate Pendlebury and Murphy on this years form. Pendlebury has better skills and is perhaps a more unique player, given his ability by both hand and foot to hit the right target under pressure. Murphy is essentially a more prolific midfielder, acquiring more possesions per game (this is the impression anyway). Personally, I'd rather Pendles at Geelong.

Thomas is trailing based on this years form.

Oh, and Parrot, LOL, you're just too funny aren't you?

Murphy is a GUN Thomas is just a flashy fairy ... And don't Thomas loves his junk time goals, he should be known as the junk time specialist.

Since when did this become a Murphy v Pendlebury thread when the title clearly says Murphy v Thomas?

Oh, when the Filth supporters finally woke up and realised how much better Murphy is compared to Dale "don't hit me, I'm on my period" Thomas.
