May I ask where you heard/read this information? I have googled and I found no sorce to this.

I think I will stick to the 'Ill believe it when the club announces it' theroy, but its getting scary that he hasn't signed yet. :(

Was reported by a number of people that were there that he has "agreed to terms".

The theory is that depending on what happens next week they will front-end/backend/standard payments to manage the cap over the next few years................that's the theory.:thumbsu:

There was the rumour floating around a couple of weeks ago that he is holding off until we have a deal done for a big name player. He was apparantly happy to take a pay cut if this were to happen.
 
We'll give you pick 11 and Paul Medhurst for him. (11 along with your pick 6 might give you a realistic chance to land Kerr, or else help with the Warnock trade)...

I was falling a sleep here but my laughter has woken me up. Freo didnt want Medhurst and it seems neither do you so what makes you think we would want him and pick 6 trumps 11, so no thanks.

Why dont you come back when Daisy has the ability to not disappear in big games and Pendles has grown a second left foot in place of his right and then maybe just maybe we'll talk, not bloody likely.

Ha ha. You guys are a sensitive bunch aren't you. Just an offer, if you think it's not a good trade, then the secure thing to do would be to suggest a better alternative or to say that you're not interested. The sledging just makes it sound like you're a bit worried?

I don't think it will happen, but I think it's interesting you still haven't managed to get his signature on paper.

BTW, obviously pick 6 is better than pick 11 - well done on working that out. What I was suggesting was that the deal I was floating was a way to get another first round pick, plus an AA forward. Completely understand if you're not interested, but I don't think its a terrible dea in this draft. Medhurst is a much better player than he was when he left Freo, but we have a few more good small/mid sized forwards than we really need, so he's a potential trade if the right deal came along. Otherwise, he's very much a required player.
 
You just came on here floating Wolfman as a possible trade package only to come back and tell us he is very much a required player. Hopefully by now your mother knows about drinking and smoking while pregnant.

Required player but tradeable if a sufficiently good deal is possible. What's hard to grasp about that? I know there are a couple of long words in that sentence, but really its pretty simple. That's true of every player bar probably two or three at every club in the land. Obviously I think this is a good enough deal for Collingwood, but also one that would be a win for Carlton, as our lists have different gaps. Shit, I'd consider 11 + Didak if it came to it...
