Yeah rumba is looking better then last year, but we're coming from a very long way back. We've lost a couple from 2012 that are going to be really hard to replace, but we've gotten a majority of our 2011 team back, plus a couple of new players that will bring a harder edge to the team, and the coach Damo has set out to insure it'll be a new look rumba this year, modelling the team play a defensive game plan. Numbers at training have been good without being great, but i expect it to pick up greatly in the coming weeks, there are still a coupe of key position players we're hoping to sign and the general feel around the place is defiantly up. And I have to slightly correct you Clinton, in that Micky O has expressed an interest in playing in the unity cup, but can't fully commit till we get closer to the game. . . . . . .

what happened to justin murphy at rumba? thought he was a done deal at rumba..

He is a done deal at about 6 different clubs at the moment

Everyone at Rumba is arrogant! They're basically admitting they have it in the bag with the signing of Michael. We still don't rate them at Cobram because they are to slow and unskilled with the ball, well that was the story last year, doubt it will change this year. All in all we are still the best team in the league :thumbsu:

how do you know there arrogant do you have any proof that they are expect a few surprises from rumba this year a finals spot is on the table alot of talent out there this year and im sure all the other teams have talent aswell but all im saying is rumba have a very good chance at making finals

rumba can sign who ever they want. still wont get them anywere !! in 2011 they had a gun side with blokes like atkinson and whyman and looked to be favourites early in the year and got nowere! all they have done have got a few back that played that year, not all of them. and even lost a couple from last year

To true Wyley Cyote, Jono 'the king' Cassidy wouldnt want anyone from Rumba playing at Cobram this year. Atkinson is a 'whooping turnover merchant of epic proportions'

Clinton's bromance towards anything Rumba is making me feel uneasy.

I love that your willing to come on here and stir some sh!t sixer, it's refreshing after such a quiet and uneventful few weeks on here, your humor is not lost on me, I find it entertaining to say the least. But I doubt highly that you play for the cobram "out in straight sets" tigers, if you did you'd know your playing budget over the last couple of years made our look miniature in comparison by buying half the mooroopna footy club, but I don't want that to sound condescending because you need to spend money no matter what league your in to even get in the hunt. But each to their own. Anyhow, when the clubs meet, will you be watching from behind the fence or out on the field?

dont worry about us at rumba baysixer and roadrunner. i think that you guys should worry about your teams and where they are going to end up during the year. it seems to me that by taking cheap shot at rumba, makes me think that you guys are already flying the white flag for your respective teams...as long as we win more games than last year, the season will be a success for us. we have never paid out big money, even when we had djars and jarrod and that aint about to change. so run along to bed, dont forget your teddies and i hope you both shit the bed!...

Didn't Barooga 'Mattina Fresh' Hawks spalsh out 1000 a game to Hilton??

Cant recall us ever taking games off locals to give us a higher profile..... Looks like where gonna go undefeated this year, you'll see alot of good footy going on at the showgrounds.
