How are the lions going these days ? Any local boys playing there from around the area ?

Mulwala Lions of the last 2 years has fielded a very young side with many local boys that are 17-20 that no one has really heard of. Recruiting for next season has been about getting the older local boys back at the club with many already signed on. So with them emerging talent of the last 2 season and allot of locals back at the den the senior team next year will be vastly made up of players that have even played a lot of their Jnr footy days at the club.

congrats to barooga and mulwala for getting the ex junior players back. But to play devils advocate Why has it taken till the introduction of the points system to concentrate more on ex junior players.

Isn't that kind of the point of it?
