iv also heard this... iv heard that a few more of their better players are considering other options too2 Ryan Butlers at Nathalia and 2 Quinns leaving?
Rumbalara have also lost the 2 Kerr boys and the 2 Terlich boys who have sinned at Shepparton Swans. Rumba have been bleeding players leaving the club. Could really struggle to be competitive this year
Quinns have signed at Waaia2 Ryan Butlers at Nathalia and 2 Quinns leaving?

The MFL has been one of the tightest comps going around in recent years. Unlikely to be a standout side again in 2017 id say. Top sides from last year Nathalia Finley Moama and Barooga will be strong again you would expect while Echuca United have recruited well and Numurkah played finals and played well in the Elimination Final going down too Moama. If they added 3 or 4 quality and found improvement within they could be a chance as well. Have a look what Rumba have closer to the Season their recruiting cycle was a bit slower last year.Anyone pick any new players up?
Guessing it's a bit early to start doing predictions.

Numurkah will improve on 2016 having only lost a couple of players in Riordon and Dickinson but have recruited 3 or 4 A graders and get a couple of quality boys back after injuries which saw them miss most of the season last year. If they stay healthy they could push for top 2. Great top 6 last year and I would expect another tight fight for final spots again.
Pretty sure they will have Luke McKeown , Ben Smyth and Jye Warren available all year after all three missing a majority of the season with shoulder reconstructions. NeW recruits that I have heard about are Morrison from Nathalia, Fothergill from ACT, Jones from Skipton and Vassal a midfielder with experience in the SANFL and with NT Thunder. Also heard they are looking at a couple of others to finalise the list. Looks like the picked up a couple of key talks and more speed and grunt in the middle.Who have they landed?
Anyone heard anything about Tonnie. New well credentialed coach. Will he be bringing any boys done from NT? Huge losses for them with Jimmy Cullum going to Queensland and Souter going to Kyabram.
Souts would be very handy for ky's ressies side!Anyone heard anything about Tonnie. New well credentialed coach. Will he be bringing any boys done from NT? Huge losses for them with Jimmy Cullum going to Queensland and Souter going to Kyabram.
Sounds good needed a key forward or two most of all I thought but the base has been there for a very good side. Whats the latest at Congupna, They still recruiting Or finished with what theyve got? How many games can they win?Pretty sure they will have Luke McKeown , Ben Smyth and Jye Warren available all year after all three missing a majority of the season with shoulder reconstructions. Things have gone a bit quiet out the Road since they announced a new coach and a couple of recruits. They will be slightly better then last year but I still feel they will be battling out bottom again with Tonnie. If they get a couple of wins they will have done well as they are coming from a mile back.Sounds good needed a key forward or two most of all I thought but the base has been there for a very good side. Thanks for that, only heard gossip before Christmas about Souter moving but good to hear he is staying to help with the development.yes big loss in jimmy Cullum going up north. I'm not sure where you got your info about Jordan souter but his staying put. they have picked up a few young players, a couple from Kyabram/Echuca/lanky
they will be a very young side that's for sure. This year is more about getting some senior footy into some younger blokes and then next year they'll try and bring some players in.
and no players from NT will be coming down to play. the coach as first year wants to have a year of development and see where there at. he said he could bring half a dozen or so in but decided against it
I've heard there getting high 20s or 30 plus to training which is a good sign.
Heard Rumbalara's new scoreboards are completed ready for Round 1 2017 and will be one of the best in country vic. What's peoples thoughts on having the MFL grand final at Rumba? because from what iv heard it is a very strong possibility that this will be the case for 2017.Id suggest Rumbalara may be in that conversation aswell. Apparently feeback from this years final at mercury drive has made them a real possibility.
parking may be the only issue.
Would be interesting given the gf is on the same day as the kdfl granny which is traditionally played at Mooroopna and the GVFL grand final is the next day.Heard Rumbalara's new scoreboards are completed ready for Round 1 2017 and will be one of the best in country vic. This year the Murray GF is before GV granny I believe. I could be wrong.
